Preserving History Networking Seminar
Tuesday, June 22nd | 12-5 p.m.
The Cedar Lake Historical Association invites you to an afternoon at the lake. Join professionals and volunteers from preservation and historical organizations to learn, brainstorm, and network. The event closes with a walk-through of the new exhibits at The Museum at Lassen’s Resort and a meet-and-greet with Scott Bocock, Lake County Historian & CLHA Curator.
Guest speaker, Ted Rita, consultant and general manager of Hesston Steam Museum, often asks his clients “Why Should I Care?” and will share best practices for dynamic audience engagement experiences. Roundtable facilitators include Madeleine Tudor of The Field Museum (regional networking), T.J. McGovern of McGovern Consulting (fundraising, strategic planning), Nicole Schmied of Smart Cookie Media (marketing, social media), and Ted Rita (exhibit design).
Payment & Details
A plated luncheon at the Lighthouse Restaurant will be followed by introductions, keynote presentation, and roundtable discussions on a variety of topics.
