Preserving History Networking Seminar
Wednesday, May 27th | 12:00-4:30 PM
The Cedar Lake Historical Association invites you to an afternoon at the lake at The Museum at Lassen’s Resort. Join professionals and volunteers from preservation and historical organizations to learn, brainstorm, and network.
We look forward to meeting with you in The Dining Room at Lassen’s Resort, our multi-functional space for gatherings and exhibition, rebranded in 2025. The culinary artists of ReMix Catering, our new food and beverage service partner, will provide lunch.
- We’ll be channeling The New York Sherpa this year. Josiah Bartlett gave an enlightening presentation on the concept of “destination stewardship” and “quality of place.” Watch it in advance and then engage with us in a conversation on how our organizations can encourage destination stewardship and contribute to the quality of place in our own communities.
- We want to know what kind of leader you are – Visionary or Integrator. Please take this brief quiz in advance and bring your results with you!
BONUS! It’ll be a Farmer’s Market Wednesday in Cedar Lake. Experience the best of the best in the Calumet Region right in the museum’s backyard after our program concludes.
